FAQs

What time can I show up?

  • Check-in: 2:00-10:00 PM**
  • We ask that people try to arrive before 10pm, but understand that may not be possible. There is a self check-in box at the gate at the bottom of the driveway.
  • Check-out: by 11AM
  • We have checkin/checkout times to ensure all guest at The Bike Farm have the space to enjoy themselves during their stay, that said we can usual accommodate most needs, so if you need to arrive or depart on a different schedule please just let us know.

Cancelation Policy:

  • The full amount of your stay is charged at the time of booking
  • NO REFUNDS within 30 days of your arrival date. More than 30 days before your arrival date, we will refund your booking, less a 10% administrative fee.
  • NO RAIN CHECKS OR CHANGES to bookings within 14 days of your booked arrival date.

Quiet Hours:

  • 10:00 pm-7:00am

How far is the walk to the restrooms?

  • Between 1-7 minutes depending on where you are camping. Riding your bike is even faster! If walking at night, don’t forget your flashlight or headlamp, you’ll want it once you get to where you’re going.

Is there electricity?

  • In the glamping tents 1 & 2 there is electricity outlets and lighting. In glamping tents 3 & 4 For car camping and tent camping there is no electricity. This is good ol’ camping, so make sure to bring your headlamps, flashlights and firewood if you want lights.

Do you have a pump track on the property?

  • We do have a pump track. Perfect for strider bikes and adults, the pump track is a ton of fun.

Do you allow pets?

  • We do allow dogs (we love animals!), but we ask that you please keep them on leash at all times for the comfort of all guest.

Is there water available on the property?

  • Yes, water is available on the property, however it is not at each individual campsite. There is a water station located at the Glamping zone near the showers for fill up.

Are there trash receptacles?

  • Please note that we are a PACK IN PACK OUT facility. We do not offer trash receptacles. We hope to encourage our customers to think about what they consume and how they handle their waste. Please plan accordingly and remove all refuse and recycling that you bring onto the property. Please check your campsite before you depart for micro-trash.  Thank you for practicing LEAVE NO TRACE etiquette while at The Bike Farm.
    *We reserve the right to ASSESS A CLEANING FEE should leave no trace etiquette not be observed.

Can I bring my own firewood or do you all sell it?

  • WE DO NOT ALLOW FIREWOOD FROM OUTSIDE THE COUNTY. Moving firewood can transport invasive species and endanger our forests. We do have firewood for sale, as do the local markets.

Food storage? Is there wildlife on the property?

  • Please store ALL FOOD AND TOOTHPASTE INSIDE YOUR VEHICLE. We have not had any issues with wildlife and we would like to keep it that way.

*All trailers, campers, and RVs MUST be pre-approved and do count towards the allowed number of vehicles at each site.

Where is the Bike Farm located?

  • The Bike Farm is located at: 380 Sutton Creek Road, Pisgah Forest NC 28768
  • Your GPS will bring you close to us, but not all the way. After you see our big sign on HWY 280 continue up Sutton Creek until you see our smaller sign. Take a right up this driveway and proceed to the gravel road.
